What is Sterling Silver (925)?

All my silver is Sterling silver which is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper.

Fine silver, is 99.9% pure silver, however, is generally too soft for producing functional objects; therefore, the silver is usually alloyed with copper to give it strength while preserving the ductility and beauty of the precious metal.

Everything I sell is handmade by myself here in Mississauga. I try and use Canadian suppliers as far as I can, and source as much of my materials and tools locally.
